Role Description The Senior Lecturer Endodontics will be responsible for delivering lectures, tutorials, and clinical demonstrations in endodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. This full-time on-site role, based in Greater Noida, involves supervising clinical work, guiding students in treatment planning and procedures, and ensuring adherence to academic and clinical standards. The Senior Lecturer will participate in curriculum development, assessment of students, and academic administration within the department. The role includes mentoring junior faculty, contributing to research activities, and engaging in continuous professional development. Collaboration with other departments, participation in academic events, and support for institutional initiatives are also expected.
Qualifications
- Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S) in Endodontics (or Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Dental Council and eligibility as per Dental Council of India norms for teaching faculty.
- Demonstrated expertise in endodontic diagnosis, treatment planning, and advanced clinical procedures, including rotary endodontics and microsurgical techniques.
- Experience in teaching dental students, with strong skills in classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and student mentoring.
- Ability to contribute to academic research, publications, and departmental projects in endodontics or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic and clinical team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical patient care, and continuous professional development.
- Prior experience as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in a dental college or teaching hospital is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies, use of educational technology, and participation in conferences and workshops will be an advantage.
